UK Astrobiology Conference 2013 – ASB5
CONFERENCE INFORMATION
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
ASB5 promises to be an excellent conference with over 150 registrants.
Registration will be from 8:00 to 9:00am on Wednesday April 17th in the foyer of the South hall where the conference is being held. If you arrive later you can register at other times (e.g. during coffee).

The conference will have 35 talks and over 45 posters.
FOR PRESENTERS: Poster board size is 6 x 3′ landscape. Please be sure that your poster fits within this size.
ACCOMMODATION: MASSON HOUSE
For people who registered for accommodation during the conference, you are staying at Masson House. You can turn up at main reception at Masson House to get your keys.
Check in is after 2 pm and check-out on the Friday is 10:30 am.

UKCA OPENING
For those who signed up for the opening of the UKCA, the lectures will begin at 4 pm on Tuesday April 16th in the main auditorium of the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street. Please be there at least 15 minutes before. The event will continue until 7:30 pm (reception from 5:30 to 6:30 pm and from 6:30 to 7:30 there will be a public lecture by Dr. Chris McKay).

The Astrobiology Society of Britain Conference 2013 is for biologists, astronomers, physicists, geologists, chemists and scientists from other fields that intersect with astrobiology. Open to international participation. Supported by the UK Space Agency.

The conference will be the 10th anniversary ASB (Astrobiology Society of Britain) conference, to be hosted by UKCA at the University of Edinburgh. The conference is sponsored by the UK Space Agency and the UKCA.
