Exoplanet Astrobiology

This theme encapsulates our interest in exoplanets, their habitability and ability to support life.

We are interested in applying insights from the biology of terrestrial extreme environments to considering the habitability of exoplanet environments.  Although we do not know precisely the environments on exoplanets, there are many intellectual links between what we do and the study of distant exoplanets.

We achieve this goal by collaborating with partners around the world and our involvement in  carrying out research and undertaking peer-reviewed science related to exoplanet science.

We collaborate with the University of Edinburgh Centre for Exoplanet Science and other institutions.
