HI-SEAS

The current HI-SEAS crew in Hawaii has a representative from the UKCA.

The curent HI-SEAS mission, HI-SEAS V, is running in Hawaii and one of the team members is Sam Payler, PhD student at the UKCA. The mission is running for 8 months.

HI-SEAS (Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation) is an analog habitat for human spaceflight to Mars. HI-SEAS is located in an isolated position on the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano on the island of Hawaii.
